Delhi - Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Ranthambore - Jaipur
Upon arrival at Delhi, you will be greeted by our representatives, who will provide you with a transfer to our hotel. The rest of the day will be free. You will end your day with dinner and overnight at the hotel. It should be noted that, depending on the exact time of your arrival, the itinerary may undergo minor modifications to better suit your needs. Our guide will take you around the city in an AC car or coach.
The tour begins with a visit to Delhi's Red Fort, a UNESCO heritage site. (Tickets included, closed on Mondays). Then, we drive to the Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India. Next, we will visit the Sikh temple Gurudwara Sri Bangla Sahib, an old palace from the seventeenth century. You will have free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit the World War I Memorial India Gate and the Humayun Tomb Complex, a World Heritage Site. The day concludes with an evening visit to the Qutab Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world. Return to the hotel and dinner.
After breakfast, we will depart for the charming city of Agra, followed by check-in at the hotel. The afternoon is reserved for exploring the magnificent Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world. This mausoleum, a masterpiece of Mughal architecture, was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife. It stands out for its imposing dome, its detailed carvings in white marble and the inlays of precious stones. The Taj Mahal stands majestically behind a reflecting pond, flanked by four minarets. (Note: The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays. If we coincide, we will adjust the itinerary). We will end the day with the return to the hotel for dinner.
After breakfast, we will drive to Fatehpur Sikri, an abandoned city built by Mughal Emperor Akbar between 1571 and 1585. Despite having been the capital of the Mughal empire for 14 years and having suffered looting after its abandonment, its architecture that combines Mughal and Hindu styles continues to impress. We will take a break for lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, we will continue our journey to Ranthambore. En route, we will visit Abhaneri to admire its medieval Rajput monuments, including the Chand Baori well and the Harshat Mata Temple, dedicated to the god Vishnu. We end the day with the arrival in Ranthambore, where we will enjoy dinner and overnight at the hotel.
At 5:00 am we will do the first safari, then we will return to the hotel for breakfast before attending the second all-terrain canter safari through the interior of the Ranthambore National Park, one of the best tiger reserves in the country, where other species are also abundant. Rest of the day at leisure, lunch, dinner and accommodation.
After breakfast, we will depart by road to Jaipur, the vibrant capital of the state of Rajasthan, also known as the 'pink city'. Jaipur is famous for its flourishing trade and its weaving and jewellery industries, offering visitors the best of its handicraft products. Upon arrival, we will check into the hotel. We will continue with a visit to Amber Fort, stopping along the way to admire the Jal Mahal, an impressive palace located on the water. Our day will conclude with a visit to the magnificent Nahargarh Fort, from where we will enjoy a spectacular night view of the city. We will end the day with return to the hotel and have dinner.
The day begins with breakfast, followed by an outing to the Birla Mandir, a spectacular temple built in white marble. Then, we will head to the Galta Ji temple complex, known for its population of monkeys and lemurs. After lunch, we will explore the historic city center, where we will visit the Albert Hall Palace, famous for its English-inspired frescoes. The day will culminate with a visit to the iconic Hawa Mahal, known as the Palace of Winds. The evening will be enlivened with dinner at the hotel, which will include a party with popular dances and the best of local cuisine.
After breakfast leave for the Jaipur Airport to board your flight back.
