Enjoy breakfast at the camp & head out to Lake Nakuru. Lake Nakuru is famous for its flamingo population around this time. The park is densely populated with abundant wildlife & birdlife, and is also better for rhino-spotting as it can be tricky in Maasai Mara. You can also witness a rare species of giraffes --- the Rothschild Giraffe. Head back to the camp & enjoy lunch. Rest for the noon and head out for another safari (based on your comfort). Enjoy Breakfast and check out of the camp. Drive time is 3-3.5 hours to reach the Mara National Park gate from Nakuru. Enjoy a game drive enroute & check in at the camp for lunch. Relax for a bit & head out for an evening game drive. Head back to the camp around sunset and enjoy a sunset bonfire at the camp for guests to share their stories. Enjoy dinner & sleep overnight. Spend another day in the majestic ecosystem of 1,500 sq. km to witness the wildlife. The month of June is right after the rainy season, and the weather is the best you can expect in Kenya. It is right before the onset of the peak travel season & you can enjoy the surreal calm of nature with fewer tourists around. Enjoy breakfast and go for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch boxes. After breakfast, check out of the camp and enjoy a final short game drive on your way out. Visit the local Maasai village to learn more about this local tribe in their home setting. Enjoy a warm welcome with traditional singing & dancing. Spend some time with the village elders and youth to understand more about their life, customs & rituals. The drive to Nairobi takes approximately 4–5 hours. En route, stop at the scenic Mai Mahiu Escarpment to take in sweeping views of the majestic Great Rift Valley trench — a perfect photo opportunity to close your safari journey. Before heading to the airport, you’ll have time to visit a café or local eatery for a quick bite. Drop off at JKIA (Jomo Kenyatta International Airport) in time for your flight back home.
